Meet the instructor and our friend, Courtney Bell.

She is a certified yoga instructor and started her practice at the age of 14! Her videos have been seen by millions of people on Youtube, and she even studied yoga at her university.

What are some of the exercises you will find in the video? See below.

Slow bicycle.

A lot of what you learn from this video is about breathing and squeezing the belly to tighten the stomach. The slow bicycle takes one of the best ab exercises and puts a yoga spin on it.

When doing this exercise, make sure to squeeze your stomach and keep your extended leg straight for best effects.

Flutter kicks.

A terrific lower ab exercise that is excellent for weight loss. The flutter kick alternates kicks from the right leg to the left while squeezing the core.

When performing this exercise, make sure to keep your lower back flat on the floor. If you feel it coming up, you can slide your hands under your butt like Courtney is doing here.

Straight arm plank.

If the goal is to lose weight and tighten the core, it’s obvious that planking needs to happen. This is a great variation that will relieve pressure from the elbows (a common complaint) and give a great core workout.

Courtney recommends rocking side to side while planking to increase the use of the oblique (love handle) muscles.

Kickbacks to knee drive.

This gives the butt a good workout as well.

The goal here is to lengthen the abdominal muscles and bring them to flexion, driving the same knee that was kicked back to the chest. This will give the core a nice stretch while burning lots of unwanted calories.
